Every cowboy and cowgirl knows if you get in trouble in the arena you need to reach out for the arena’s pick-up man. Its always better to call on the pick-up pick up man than be trampled into the dirt! Outside of the arena, its just as important to reach out when life gets tough. That is what the CFD Pick-up Man campaign is about. The Pick-up Man campaign utilizes yellow feathers – encouraging those to wear them on their headgear or hat. Doing so demonstrates an understanding of the need to decrease suicides in our communities and a willingness to be the pick-up man if the need arises.
